Vigilant ™

Vigilant™ is a proprietary investment platform that was developed by Acadia Capital, LLC for identifying, managing and maximizing opportunities in private equity markets. The system is employed by Acadia to help its clients analyze and manage their investment considerations, and is available to accredited financial institutions that are seeking to launch, manage or enhance a private equity or investment banking department.

The platform organizes the investment process from the initial screening of ideas to the final commitment of capital, and can be managed and viewed real-time on a firm’s intranet.  The methodology of the system standardizes certain qualitative and quantitative analysis and execution, which enables multiple transactions to be processed in a comparative manner to ensure both an efficient and accurate review of data.

Highly flexible, the system offers a wide range of multi-sector reporting options that allow detailed financial analysis to be performed on up to eight divisions of a company, which can be reviewed on either a consolidated or individual basis. Additionally, Vigilant's Workflow Management functionality provides a single point of reference to manage all aspects of a transaction, including tasks that may be delegated to third party professionals e.g. outside legal or auditing counsel.  The Workflow Management template can be customized by adding or removing line items on a deal by deal basis.

Vigilant™ seamlessly integrates information from a dynamic data-base into summary reports, legal contracts, and financial models, including a leverage buy-out, discounted cashflow, publicly traded comparative analysis, and GP/LP analysis.  Vigilant™ also memorializes all correspondence and negotiations to strengthen an investor’s resolve and legal position in the event of a potential contract dispute.
